To raise awareness about breast cancer and other preventive health measures for women, the Adams County Regional Medical Center (ACRMC) is hosting a Women’s Health Day on Saturday, October 22 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
Women’s Health Day will be held at the ACRMC at 230 Medical Center Drive in Seaman, Ohio, where mammography services, inexpensive comprehensive blood work, bone density and blood pressure tests will be held. In addition, Ohio State University will provide participants with an inflatable colon display. It includes graphic examples of a healthy colon, various colon problems, and stages of colon cancer. Guided walking or rolling tours led by local health experts help explain the importance of early detection and detection of gut health issues.

Inexpensive Comprehensive Blood Screening is $35.00 and includes Glucose, BUN, Creatinine, Albumin, Sodium, Potassium, Chloride, Carbon Dioxide, Calcium, T. Protein, T. Bilirubin, ALT, AST, Alkaline, Phosphatase, Cholesterol, Triglycerides , LDL, HDL, TSH, CBC and HgbA1C. A TST (Testosterone) Screening is also available for $12.00. There is no cost associated with the inflatable colon gauge or the bone density and blood pressure tests.

This event will also feature providers of small businesses and community organizations that provide education, resources and referrals on services to women of all ages in Adams and Brown counties.
