What time does reporting start?
Seven’s coverage of the Grand Finals will begin at 7:00am AEST with Weekend Sunrise and will continue without interruption until the post Grand Finals presentations and celebrations conclude at approximately 7:00pm AEST.
Following this Saturday’s weekend sunrise, coverage of Seven’s Grand Final Day will include:
• Seven’s pre-game coverage from 9:00am AEST will take fans to the annual Grand Final Brunch.
• The 2022 AFL Grand Final countdown begins at 10:30am AEST, where hosts Luke Darcy, Jude Bolton, Jobe Watson and Darcy Moore lead viewers into the build-up to the Grand Final at the MCG, while football’s leading pundits and newsbreakers All pre-game analysis and current developments will be covered.
• Beginning at noon AEST, Seven will be taking viewers live at the MCG every moment of the Grand Final Pre-Game Show. Ahead of the Premiership decision, fans will enjoy pre-match entertainment with Robbie Williams headlining while Mike Brady will perform Up There Cazaly. Abbey Gelmi will sit down for a one-on-one interview with Robbie Williams and last Geelong Premiership captain Cameron Ling chats with Cats skipper Joel Selwood ahead of the big game.
• At half-time fans are treated to a host of Australian musicians including G Flip, The Temper Trap with Budjerah and Ngaiire and Goanna with Christine Anu, Emma Donovan, Tasman Keith and William Barton.
• The first-ever AFLW match of the AFL Grand Final Day will kick off at 11am AEST on 7mate and 7plus when Richmond take on the Brisbane Lions for the fifth AFLW round at Punt Road Oval.
• 2022 AFL Grand Final starting at 2:00pm AEST. Seven’s unrivaled football coverage continues on the biggest and best day of the year, bringing viewers live from the MCG every moment.
• After the game, Seven will provide every unmissable moment of post-match presentations at 5:00pm AEST when the Norm Smith medalist is announced and the winning team receives the 2022 AFL Premiership Cup.
• Seven’s post-game coverage from 18:00 AEST will be hosted by football’s premier commentary team, live from the floor at the MCG with the 2022 Premiers for essential interviews with all the key figures of the Grand Final.
