Looking for a getaway? A new off-the-grid tiny home travels to beautiful destinations in Victoria so you can enjoy the best this state has to offer. Supported by the Victorian Government, Stella the stargazer will pop up in Gippsland this October, followed by the Great Ocean Road and Grampians next year. Bookings for this tiny home are now possible.
Stella the stargazer
This limited edition Tiny Home stays in each location for eight weeks. This locally designed accommodation pays homage to the Aussie Shed and has been created from recycled and handcrafted materials. Everything you need to go offline and record your surroundings is here.
The custom-designed Stargazer queen bed can stay in or be rolled out so you can admire the night sky under an opening glass and steel canopy. There is also a shower with operable glass louvers, a fridge, a wood stove, cooking utensils and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The off-grid house uses solar energy and has plenty of fresh water in the tank.
Plus, enjoy a breakfast, welcome basket, and bottle of wine curated by Farmers Daughters chef Alejandro Saravia. Celebrate the region with some incredible local produce. If you want something special, you can also add a premium dinner package curated by Saravia.
Accommodation costs start at $330 per night Monday through Thursday and $390 per night Friday through Sunday.

Maffra, Gippsland
When: Friday 14th October to Thursday 15th December
Stella the Stargazer will begin her journey around Victoria in Gippsland. Stay amid rolling hills just a short walk from the Blue Gables Vineyard winery. Enjoy the scenery and explore the nearby national parks and cities.
Great Ocean Road
When: Friday 3 February 2023 to Thursday 6 April 2023
Spend the summer on the Great Ocean Road. While the location is yet to be announced, you will be close to the famous 12 Apostles. Explore the region’s waterfalls and rainforests, spot local wildlife, or stay indoors at historic sites and galleries.
The Grampians
When: Friday 17 April 2023 to Thursday 18 June 2023
Stay in the heart of the Grampians and enjoy the beauty of the sandstone mountains. While the location is yet to be revealed, you’ll find yourself on bushy farmland. Discover nearby scenic overlooks, hiking trails and wildlife. Then enjoy art galleries and local wine in the nearby cellar doors.
