everton (opens in new tab) and Westham (opens in new tab) Round out this weekend’s Premier League action when they meet at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Toffees and Hammers are 17th and 18th respectively and come into this clash having only collected four points each in 2022/23 so far.
Frank Lampard’s hosts are one of only two teams (along with Leicester (opens in new tab)) are yet to record a win this season – but they have shown some promising performances, particularly when they played against Liverpool (opens in new tab) to a 0-0 draw in the Merseyside derby last time out.
As for David Moyes’ visitors, their only win of the season came at Aston Villa (opens in new tab) three matchweeks ago – but they go into this encounter on the back of back-to-back Europa Conference League wins over FSCB and Silkeborg.
West Ham won both games between these two teams last season and went 1-0 at Goodison in October.
Team News
With Jordan Pickford sidelined for a few weeks with a hamstring injury, Asmir Begovic is expected to be in Everton’s goal.
Lampard is left without the services of Mason Holgate, Yerry Mina, Ben Godfrey and Andros Townsend but Abdoulaye Doucoure and Dominic Calvert-Lewin could both return to the squad.
After rotating heavily midweek, Moyes was able to recall Michail Antonio, Pablo Fornals, Said Benrahma, Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek to the starting XI – with Lukasz Fabianski expected to return between the sticks for Alphonse Areola.

VPN guide
Annoyingly, when you’re abroad for a round of Premier League games, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are based on your IP address (boo!). You’re blocked from watching it, which isn’t ideal if you’ve paid for a subscription and still want to follow the action without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.
But help is at hand. To get around this, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), provided it complies with your broadcaster’s terms and conditions. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, which means the service can’t figure out where you are and won’t automatically block the service you paid for. All information that goes in between is fully encrypted – and that’s a result.
