Jeremy Renner shares a video of him recovering in the hospital after a snow shoveling accident
Actor Jeremy Renner celebrates his 52nd birthday in hospital, where he is being treated after being “crushed” by a snow plow that left him with severe injuries.
The Marvel star underwent two surgeries at a Nevada hospital after the “tragic” accident left him on a “long road to recovery.”
He was trying to save his car from the snow when he was accidentally run over by his snow plow.
“We can confirm that Jeremy suffered blunt force trauma to the chest and orthopedic injuries and underwent surgery today (January 2),” Renner’s family said in their original statement. “He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in a critical but stable condition.”
On Wednesday (4 January), TMZ They obtained details of the log made by the emergency services at the time, including details from the 911 call that give insight into Renner’s immediate injuries.
According to the posting, Renner, 51, was audibly moaning in the background of the call, due to his pain.
The record indicates that the right side of Renner’s chest collapsed and his upper torso was shattered.
A neighbor said the plow ran over one of the actor’s legs, despite a slew of safety features, resulting in massive blood loss.
In his first post since the accident, Renner shared a selfie from his hospital bed with the caption: “Thank you all for your kind words. [sic] Too messed up now to write. But I am sending love to all of you.”

Renner has been met with an outpouring of support from his fans and Marvel co-stars, including Chris Hemsworth, Taika Waititi, and Chris Pratt.
On Saturday, January 7, Renner turned 52 years old. He shared his birthday messages on Instagram Stories from his hospital bed.
In a short clip, posted to Instagram Stories on Thursday (January 5), Renner is seen sitting up in bed while his sister, Kim, massages shampoo into his hair.
“We’re so hot,” she joked, rubbing his head, before adding, “Look at all the blood!”
“First shower, definitely in a week or so,” Renner told the camera. “has increased!”

Watch footage of Renner being airlifted to the hospital
in the clip he got TMZthe helicopter was seen taking off from the snowy road near his home in Tahoe on Sunday (January 1), where the accident occurred.
There’s also another video floating around the internet of someone being airlifted, which has been mislabeled as Renner. But in this recording, there was no snow on the ground.

After the sheriff’s press conference, a reporter asked if anyone could drive a Snowcat or if you needed a license to operate one.
