SmartCow, an AI engineering company specializing in video analytics and AIoT devices, announced two robust “end-to-end” solutions for smart cities: Mars, an AI edge embedded box PC; and SuperCam, the powerful all-in-one AI camera, both based on the latest NVIDIA® Jetson AGX OrinTM.
The two solutions use the new, powerful Jetson AGX Orin to support 24/7 out-of-band (OOB) management and high-resolution streaming.
SuperCam is a state-of-the-art, rugged IP65 smart camera designed for harsh outdoor temperatures. SuperCam has the ability to collect and process video analytics at the edge to reduce latency and increase edge server customization – crucial when location, privacy requirements, or limited internet connectivity limit the ability to send data to a central server or cloud -to hand over service. Equipped with a 4K rolling shutter, a fixed lens camera sensor and a motorized lens global shutter sensor, it captures image data in high resolution and with the highest accuracy. Other computing power and connectivity features include support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and LTE/5G networks, enabling hybrid seamless communications at the edge.
SuperCam supports the SmartCow Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) stack, which can act as a centralized edge computing server, connecting up to 15 cameras to create a density of data capture networks for efficient video processing. Fully integrated with intelligent transportation system (ITS) solutions, SuperCam is capable of addressing comprehensive traffic problems and reducing deployment and integration costs for smart city initiatives.
Mars is an AI embedded box PC built with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 32G/64G module. Designed for robust smart factory environments, Mars OOB Power Cycling or Remote Debugging helps manage workloads so even devices can function without a network connection to avoid system crashes.
