One of the problems with AEW is having a very large roster and finding time to get all the stars on screen in a meaningful way each week. Some things are understandable, like waiting for the right moment to win a championship. Other things are head scratchers, like Brian Cage disappearing from television for almost a year.
Opinions differ about Cage’s ceiling, but I don’t think there’s much difference in the notion that he’s good enough to be in it dynamite and Rampage at least in a special attraction role.
