The winners of the inaugural Australian Photographic Prize were announced at a new four-day photography conference and awards event in Victoria last weekend.

Event organizers Karen Alsop and Robyn Campbell reported a higher than expected turnout. At the event, hundreds of people attended the print assessment and conference each day, either in person or through 5000 views through the online platforms. The Australian Photographic Prize Nikon Digital Awards celebrated the very best in amateur photography with nearly 600 entries. The EIZO Photographic Artist Prize had over 100 entries, while the Australian Photographic Prize Epson Print Awards received 700 print entries. The list of winners is as follows:
